Tuqoos, Julmud’s debut album release is a 15-track project rooted in heavy beats that bend space and time to subvert forms of enclosure. The sounds have an almost granular detailed texture while maintaining a gripping rhythmic flow via dense bass lines and a bitter sweetness in the melodies, blurring the lines between hanging on a street corner, at a protest or in a club.
Produced in Ramallah - Palestine, Tuqoos pushes up against otherwise inaccessible space, resisting the conditions of a body in capture through sounds that morph, slip through and create breaks in times and spaces that remain occupied.

Julmud is a music producer/researcher and a sound engineer/designer based in Ramallah-Palestine that creates, composes, samples and combines sounds from across the globe to create his own non-generic form of music/sound. He has produced works and collaborated with different artists such as Al Nather, Muqata’a, Haykal, Baraari, Makimakkuk and Walaa Sbait among many other international artists. He is currently in the process of producing a variety of solo and collaborative works. His debut album ‘Tuqoos’ was released on March 30th 2022 on Bilna’es.
